10-07-2025The Ring Doorbell and its camera products have been an item that I have been raving about way before it got its notoriety from the masses to-date. It has been a product that I felt from the very beginning a game changer for home security and that need for assistance with protection in mind of the bare need to have visibility of one’s home and or property equally. And what better way then the need for such a device which gives each of us that very ample opportunity to do just that individually for our own protection with such a meaningful devise that the folks at Ring have presented us with in there products that are far more superior and well delivered with care in its production of its products with utmost importance to deliver this product with the best intentions of presenting us all with the best possible product that I believe is of good sound construction and quality. With making it so at the most reasonable cost to the consumer. Which has been ever so put forth before us all. In this the Ring Doorbell and security camera and other ring products that have been rolled out with such care and thought for its consumer at the top of its concern in price and complete utter top of the line construction in its products.Simply trusted with every product presented with the people in mind its serves.Ring made right and truly what is needed now and forever more.Kind regards,J. 10-07-2025Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased the newer model on Prime Day and received it within hours for $65. Having a valid reason to upgrade my doorbell camera, this model has completely changed the game! I am glad to have decided to upgrade my older model to protect my residence, and I encourage others who live in a condominium or apartment to do the same. The older model fails to record people walking up the stairs, whereas the newer model captures the top of a person's head before they turn to walk up the stairs. The video range is perfection at its finest! I can record the surrounding area to confirm if it's safe to answer or open my door. THANK YOU, Ring, for making me feel safer than ever before!

10-07-2025This is an attractive and very functional doorbell. It's also a very good security addition to any home. We paid for a year of recording service so that if anyone walks up to our door they get their picture taken and their actions are recorded on Amazon's cloud service that you can access through their Ring application on your smart phone. It's very clever and keeps people honest, or else it provides video for law enforcement if they aren't. I had to buy a wedge kit for $20 to correct the slant of my siding. Looks professionally installed now. I wired it to the existing mechanical door bell wiring.
